People call me weird, including my parents. They don’t understand or accept characteristics related to these traits, for example, I always forget instructions right after being given them. They just get mad.
After I became more aware of or were identified with these traits, I understood myself much more, there is an explanation for almost everything that confused me. I now know how to target my struggles and use appropriate coping strategies to deal with them. My emotional wellbeing is much better after doing that.
If I could go back to my teenage years, I want my parents to have understood me, and learn more about my traits, as well as not judging me or yelling at me.
